The Business Analyst is the link between the customer and the project. Their task is to identify the customer requirements and translate them into business requirements. These business requirements are in turn used to develop customer-focused products, services, systems, etc. Business Analysts work in both private sector and government organizations. The analyst role is increasing in importance within all types of organizations and in various departments within these organizations including: Systems, Production, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Administration to name a few.

This workshop applies a case study simulation to engage participants in a real-life case that applies the Business Requirements Process. Participants will work in a team to apply the Business Requirements Process to an actual project. In so doing, they will experience the role of Business Analysis and know what to do to determine customer requirements as well as implement on-going feedback from customers into the project.

- Use Business Process Modeling to analyse the business and/or system processes.
