Leading Innovation in Your Organization |
Overview |
Most individual have read about innovation, heard about innovation and maybe even tried to be innovative. But few understand exactly what the process for innovation really is. Innovation is not the result of a lone genius; rather it is a collaborative process where people from many different parts of teh organization contribute to the creation and implementation of new ideas.
Organizations that are innovative focus on customer needs and opportunites. They focus on achieving profitable operations by constantly looking for ways to reinvent themselves with new generations of products and services that their customers will want. This raises a challenge for them to create an environment which will encourage the development of innovations. They will require a strategy for creating an innovative culture and a innovation process for deployment of innovations. |
