Business Process Management / Kaizen |
Overview |
Business Process Improvement (BPI) is a systematic approach to help an organization optimize its key business work processes to achieve more efficient results. It was first implemented as “Kaizen” in several Japanese businesses after the Second World War, influenced by American business and quality management teachers such as Deming with the aim to eliminate waste. Today it is used to boost bottom-line results and increase efficiency and effectiveness of internal business processes. |
