A successful quality management program is very likely one that is well organized, planned, and supported. The quality management committee is a means for achieving this needed planning and controlling. In addition to the services of setting up and maintaining the quality management committee, Business Improvement Architects will assist them in prioritizing quality strategies, resourcing quality initiatives and ensuring that all quality initiatives are strategically linked. Once the quality management committee is fully developed, Business Improvement Architects will provide an independent and objective review of how well it is performing.
Creating and/or reviewing the Quality Management Committee will include:
- Structure of the Quality Management Committee.
- Clarity of roles and responsibilities of each member
- Experiences of Committee members regarding challenges, issues, concerns or opportunities.
- Communication and promotion of the Quality Management Committee throughout the organization.
- Resourcing and prioritizing of all quality initiatives.
- The co-ordination and management of all organizational quality initiatives.
- The on going reporting of status on quality initiatives.
- Because each quality management committee is different, we tailor our review to the specific needs of the organization.
