Overview |

Organizations today are focused on establishing improvement in their quality initiatives and the management of their projects because this has a direct impact on their product and service delivery to their customers. Comparisons to other similar and dissimilar organizations and their departments can yield valuable insights and help to identify the best strategies for improvement of overall quality, process, procedures, structure, and so on. Understanding your competition is one of the most difficult tasks facing management.
Business Improvement Architects helps organizations to analyze every aspect of their competitors' and non-competitors' business operations.
- Identification of internal best practices and establishment of the internal benchmarks against which an organization and/or department within the organization can use as a comparison.
- Full benchmarking analysis for organizations to ensure best practices are understood and the process of integrating this knowledge into their quality, processes, procedures, structure, etc. is fully understood.

Benchmarking Process |
|
Identifying what is to be benchmarked.
- We'll help you pinpoint the processes that drive your performance and affect customer value and market share.
- We'll conduct an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of all internal operations to make sure that processes and operations are measured.
Identifying comparative organizations and departments.
- We work with the management team to create an effective partner list that includes all internal sources and benchmarks.
- We will help you to determine which of the preliminary organizations selected are really the "best of the best" and whether or not their systems and processes and really comparable.
Collecting the data
- We help you develop an appropriate data-collection plan that may include: one-on-one interviews, telephone interviews, email or web-based surveys, site visits and observation.
Analyzing and comparing the data to current performance levels
- Once the data has been collected we will undertake an analysis that compares the benchmarked data of your competitors with your organization currently to determine:
- Industry trends and projections that may affect your organization's future performance.
- The impact of these trends and projections on your organization.
