Crisis situations can occur for many reasons: lack of agreement on the scope of the quality strategy, scope creep, poor management of the quality initiative, lack of customer interaction, lack of sponsor and/or management support, to name a few.

Business Improvement Architects is often brought into a quality initiative when it is "in crisis" because we are experts at bringing them "back on track."
