Once the project management office is fully developed, Business Improvement Architects will provide an independent and objective review of how well it is performing.
Creating and/or reviewing a PMO will include a review of the:
- Structure of the PMO.
- Roles and responsibilities of each PMO member.
- Challenges, issues, concerns and opportunities experienced by PMO members.
- Communication and promotion of the PMO throughout the organization.
- Resourcing and prioritizing projects.
- Coordination and management of all organizational projects.
- Development of a project management life cycle.
- Development of all project documentation.
- Development of all project management processes.
- On-going reporting of project status.
